2009 Stamp-Coin set 'Early Posting Box'

Celebrate two centuries of Australia’s postal legacy with the 2009 “Early Posting Box” Stamp & Coin Set, a collector favourite that blends history, artistry, and fine silver. Issued to mark 200 years of Australian postal services, this set features a 55c commemorative stamp paired with a ½ oz 99.9% pure silver proof coin replicating the stamp’s image of a heritage red posting box.

Struck by the Perth Mint and issued as Australian legal tender, the coin is stamp-shaped with intricate colour detailing. The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Presented in an elegant display case with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, this release is a proud tribute to one of Australia's enduring institutions.
