1966 Australian Round 50c - PCGS MS64

Cert Number: 61472285

This 1966 Australian Round 50 Cent piece stands as a notable relic from the first year of Australia's Decimal currency era. Graded by PCGS as MS64, this specimen demonstrates superior mint state condition with well-preserved lustre and only light surface imperfections consistent with the grade. The coin features Queen Elizabeth II in profile on the obverse and the Australian coat of arms on the reverse, hallmarks of mid-century Australian coinage design. As a transitional-period issue, it holds particular appeal for collectors documenting Australia's numismatic evolution and those seeking quality examples from this historically significant minting year.
