1963(m) Australian Proof Threepence - PCGS PR66

Cert Number: 26255330

This exceptional 1963(m) Australian Proof Threepence represents a standout example of mid-century Australian coinage, graded PR66 by PCGS. Struck at the Melbourne mint during a period of limited proof production, this threepence displays the hallmark characteristics of premium proof coinage—mirror fields, frosted devices, and pristine surface preservation. The PR66 designation reflects near-gem quality with only minor imperfections visible under magnification. A significant addition for collectors focused on Australian decimal-era proofs and pre-decimal denominations, this piece combines historical significance with numismatic appeal.
