James I Silver Shilling, Third Coinage, Sixth Bust, mintmark lis, S.2668. A pleasing hammered issue struck c.1623–1624, showing the crowned bust of James I right with XII behind, and the royal arms within a square-topped shield to the reverse. A nice Very Fine example, perhaps slightly better, with good overall detail and attractive period character.
