This coin is the first selectively gold plated coin released and produced by the Royal Australian Mint. The coin was created to celebrate the start of the second decade of Australia’s internationally acclaimed $1 silver Kangaroo series.
This coin weighs one troy ounce and is comprised of 99.9% fine silver. The selectively gold plated elements of the coin are 99.99% gold plated.
The total maximum mintage of this coin was 10,000.
