This 1887 London 1/2 Sovereign, graded MS63, is a splendid example of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee coinage. The obverse features the “Jubilee Head” portrait of Queen Victoria, while the reverse showcases the traditional crowned shield of arms. This coin also bears the “Normal JEB” initials of the engraver, Joseph Edgar Boehm. Struck from 22-carat gold, it retains sharp detail and a bright finish.
